Mark 10:13-14  A nd they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Lesson: Every month my church goes out to feed the needy. This past weekend we were out and I took my children along to help. They really enjoy being out there helping and often ask if they can go out when I do. It is truly a blessed experience for them and it also goes to show just how God touches the smallest hearts and uses them to do His will. You will either serve the Lord or you will serve the pleasures of the earth. You cannot serve both of them. If you are pleasing your flesh and doing the thing that the world does you are a slave to those things and not in the will of the Father.   Serving mammon means that you worship material things, you have become a slave to it. You live for yourself and what you have, it is being selfish. And with everything you gain it is never enough you always want more. John 15:9-12 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, abide in his love. 11These things I have spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Lesson: Jesus gave us a main commandment which is to love one another as He loves us. He has no conditions on His love for us. Meaning He loves us with a love like a mother. You know how your mother loves you no matter who you are or what you have done. God loves us even when we do wrong but He sends His word for us to get it right. He does not want us to continue to walk blind in our sin. And He does not us to continue on a path of destruction. We love people with conditions with the main condition being, if you hurt me in any kind of way or you don't treat me the way I feel you should treat ...
