Repent And Be Freed And Forgiven Of Sins

Luke 3:2-6 2: Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3: And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4: As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5: Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6: And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. Lesson: Definitions: Repentance –noun 1. deep sorrow, compunction, or contrition for a past sin, wrongdoing, or the like. 2. regret for any past action. Remission –noun 1. the act of remitting. 2. pardon; forgiveness, as of sins or offenses.   Salvation –noun 1. the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, destruction, etc. 2. th...

Going Back Into The World

Seven Unclean Spirits Matthew 12:43-45 W hen the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Lesson: When God calls us out of the darkness He will clean us up and change our life. We are made righteous and holy before His presence. Everything that had us bound or had a hold on us in the world we are set free from. No longer do we want the same things. No longer do we want to commit the sins that we were a slave to. We are delivered from pain, bondage and sin. We are now saved and our sins are forgiven and covered under the blood of Jesus. We are free from d...

Prayer

Matthew 7:7-11 A sk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Lesson: We can go to our Father and ask for anything. He is waiting on us to depend on Him, seek Him and wait on Him. God is our Great Provider and He knows what we have need of. He knows our hearts desire and He is waiting on us to line up with His word, that He may give us the things that we desire. It is only when we line up that we can and bring forth good fruit that we can began to see God's blessings. It has to be this way because our hea...

Jesus Leaves His Peace

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Lesson: Definitions: Peace - freedom from war, trouble, or disturbance. Troubled - 1. emotionally or mentally distressed. 2. economically or socially distressed. Afraid - 1. frightened or fearful 2. reluctant or regretful. We have so many things going on in this world day to day we tend to ask the question, " When will I get a moments peace?" Or better yet as christians and people of  God we go through trials and storms because we serve the Lord. We are constantly under attack from the enemy and it seems as though we will never make it out or have any peace. But Jesus says that he leaves us with his peace. That mean that through our faith we can have peace even in the mist of our trials. it is a peace that no man can give us and the world can not take away. For instance yesterday's weathe...

Spirit Of Fear

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Lesson: We do not have to be afraid of anything. Fear comes from the enemy. So therefore we do not have to be afraid to speak the truth about Christ. He gave us hearts to love one another and have compassion for each other. He gave us a mind to think for ourselves and to seek the truth so that we should be saved from sin. Don't fear but have faith that God will supply all of our needs according to His will. This scripture truely speaks for itself. Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.3

Armour of God

Ephesians 6:10-19 F inally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high place 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking on the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with ...

God's Pure Love

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Lesson: God loves us so much that he sent his Son to  be beaten, humiliated, persecuted and die on the cross just to save us from our own sins and a life of eternal damnation. As long as we believe in Jesus Christ, have faith in Him and live according to God's word we will live forever, not on this Earth but in Heaven with the Father. Would you give your  child's life to save others knowing that they have done wrong? That they have committed murder, rape, adultery, robbery, fraud or any of these things against you, your family members or your friends? No we would not. But God did. Hallelujah! Praise God! I certainly am glad He did. Jesus gave his life for ours, He made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be forgiven of our sins and live.

Serving The Master

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Lesson: Definitions of mammon: material wealth or wealth as evil, golden calf, materialistic goal Synonyms: avarice, gain, possessions, riches, wealth, almighty dollar, effigy, graven image, idol, mammon This is simply put. You will either serve the Lord or you will serve the pleasures of the earth. You cannot serve both of them. If you are pleasing your flesh and doing the thing that the world does you are a slave to those things and not in the will of the Father.   Serving mammon means that you worship material things, you have become a slave to it. You live for yourself and what you have, it is being selfish. And with everything you gain it is never enough you always want more. More money, more success, more power and this leads to doing whatever it take to get what you w...

Judging With Evil Thoughts

James 2:1-4 M y brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with the respect of persons. 2For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Lesson: God shows no favoritism. He does not treat one bad because he sins and the other good because he worships Him. He loves us all the same. Therefore we should treat each other in the same manor. That is living for the glory of God. But we treat each other a certain way according to the life we live, the way we look and the material possessions we have. We treat the people that have money and earthly possessions with respect and the poor man that is dirty and homeless lik...

Commandment To Love

John 15:9-12 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, abide in his love. 11These things I have spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Lesson: Jesus gave us a main commandment which is to love one another as He loves us. He has no conditions on His love for us. Meaning He loves us with a love like a mother. You know how your mother loves you no matter who you are or what you have done. God loves us even when we do wrong but He sends His word for us to get it right. He does not want us to continue to walk blind in our sin. And He does not us to continue on a path of destruction. We love people with conditions with the main condition being, if you hurt me in any kind of way or you don't treat me the way I feel you should treat ...
